And now, let's look at CS 1.6 HL Edition in detail. Right from the launch, we are welcomed with an amazing game menu redesign: an awesome Half-Life theme background picture, a great color scheme, and an original soundtrack to complete the atmosphere. Now we will start a new game and check out what's inside. After it's loaded we begin to notice other things: new player models from the classic first HL version including soldiers and scientists - a great set of characters
whom we all know and love

Weapons skins however are even more amazing: it's more or less the same weapons but with original Gordon Freeman suite arms. They look fantastic with the HD texture pack. Crowbar replaces knife obviously and the model has very high definition making the graphics look even more pleasant to the eye. De_blackmessa - a bonus map takes us back to the classic HL gameplay and brings back a lot of memories. To top it all off, the HUD is taken directly from Half-Life 2 and seems very nice.

Aside from all these amazing visual and graphic updates, there are a lot of other ones. Firstly, there are bots, that can be played with at any map you wish to load. A convenient menu lets us configure all the essential settings like difficulty, amount of players, and much more. If you prefer to play online, there are hundreds of amazing servers waiting for you in the browser.
